At the end of last year Tesla came to us and asked if we could help them display their newest car (The Model 3), in the French mountains.
We, of course, jumped at the chance!
The idea was to showcase the car in two location in the French alps. The first being in the very beautiful resort of St Gervais, situated only an hour from Geneva and at the foot of Mont Blanc.
Due to the location of this dome we had to call in numerous suppliers including a specialist dome company, structural engineers, fabricators, painters, carpenters, project managers etc.
Within a month we designed, we built, we tested and then rebuilt a geo dome before congregating in St Gervais before the first snow fall came...
Temperatures were sub zero for the duration of the build but in typical GIANT fashion we pulled together and got the job done. The end result, well check it out for your selves!
