Working closely with Red Bull we had the opportunity to conceptualise, design and then build three of their sponsors soap box race cars which would take on the course at Alexandra Palace!
The first concept we worked on was a giant BLT sandwich packet which stood around 2m tall and was piloted by a university team who won a competition with Red Bull.
The second build was for Flares Liverpool. Due to their disco heritage we thought it only right that we built them a giant disco ball!
The third soap box was built for the Radio X Radio host Johnny Vaughan who was to pilot the vehicle down the course. Taking inspiration from their very own show we created a giant microphone.
